Beta Version of Game Plan is Scheduled for Release by the End of August 2012

We are very excited to announce the release of the beta version of Game Plan – Construction Production Planner™. Release is scheduled for the end of this month.

Game Plan is a web based construction project and production management solution for today’s architecture, construction, engineering and operations (AECO) industry. It is a highly scalable system and a subscription based software as a service (SAAS) model that brings value to the construction projects by making communication among project stakeholders more effective and manage project information efficiently.

Game Plan architecture supports lean construction principles and it can be used as a lean construction tool.

• Game Plan enables better work flow management and production planning at execution level
• It makes reliable production plans to deal with uncertainties and bring stability
• It enables decentralized systems for collaboration in fragmented construction environments
• It facilitates doing the job, maximizing value, and minimizing waste

We have started this blog with the intent of updating Game Plan users on latest developments, new features and latest releases.

Announcing GamePlan Beta Tester Program

 We are happy to announce the launch of lean construction based project management system – GamePlan. GamePlan’s Schedule Management and Field Management modules will be available for Beta testing initially. We will be adding Document Management, Contract Management, Cost Management and Resource Management modules shortly.

We are searching for Lean Construction experienced testers who can participate in beta testing our new web application GamePlan. We will be providing testing documentation and other information through emails and http://forum.intellobuild.com. We have set up this forum for GamePlan beta testers. Here they can give feedback, report bugs, request features and post results from individual use of the application.

The main objectives of beta program is to test GamePlan’s User Experience (UX) and User Acceptance. We want to make sure that our application fits the use for which it is intended and it is making things easier for the user.

We are seeking feedback on following questions:

• Does the application fit the purpose for which it is intended?
• How easy is it to navigate through GamePlan?
• Is it obvious to you which actions are available to you?
• Is the look-and-feel of GamePlan consistent from page to page, including font sizes and colors?
